Hi Gazebo Community!
This week’s meeting was held on 2025-06-16T18:00:00Z and the following is a summary:
- Progress updates and agenda:
- gz-transport: Zenoh graph cache for async services (part5) merged.
- gz-transport: Clean up namespaces (part 4, last one) (main, gz-transport14, gz-transport13, ign-transport11) Merged.
- Setup-Gazebo action: Updated to Kilted
- Gazebo + MoveIt + ros_controls: Created a nice README for the repository. See also.
- Standalone executables: Saurabh fixed the dependency of the server with Qt libraries. There is an issue on Windows with Qt6. Our CI did not catch the problem. Investigating it.
- blzmod migration: Uploaded to BCR: libccd 2.1.0, fcl 0.7.0, octomap 1.9.7, ode 0.16.6. Bullet 3.26.0-rc0: in review. Dart 6.13.2 - pending bullet. gz-physics - fully working, we need a new release.
- Jetty Debian package names without version numbers (release-tools#1326). Prototypes:
- Alias package gz-jetty-cmake that depends on libgz-cmake5-dev (gz-jetty-release#5)
- Alias packages gz-jetty-utils, gz-jetty-utils-cli, and gz-jetty-utils-log that depend on libgz-utils4-dev, libgz-utils4-cli-dev, and libgz-utils4-log-dev (gz-jetty-release#6)
