Hi Gazebo Community!
This week’s meeting was held on 2025-04-14T18:00:00Z and the following is a summary:
- Progress updates and agenda:
- Starting the review plan for Qt6 (PR1, PR2, PR3).
- gz-transport patch to make Zenoh and ZeroMQ coexist.
- Implement raw subscribers and pub/sub here.
- CI updates to install Zenoh packages (Homebrew and Ubuntu).
- New Conda “Noble like” envinronment available for Jetty.
- Infra team to provide efforts and feedback on the autorelease feature.
- Standalone gz-sim executables ported to Jetty.
- Gz Transport new
CreateSubscriber()
method under review. We discussedJerry
plans to deprecate the currentSubscribe()
or leave it as it is. - Gazebo Jetty logo update: Artisted contacted. We’ll need to wait to end other arrangements.
- Ongoing updates for removing major version from packages.
- Contributor recruiting program. Let’s propose some ASAN patches for new contributions.
- Review the RFC simulation interfaces and the status of ros_gz and similar repositories for the Kilted feature freeze.
