Part of our open-source ethos is that anyone can use ROS and Gazebo and they don’t have to communicate back to us. This means we have very little visibility into how ROS & Gazebo users use the software; and we have to actively ask the community about what they’re doing. We ask that you please take a moment to fill out this survey about your ROS and / or Gazebo usage. We are trying to understand who is using ROS and Gazebo and how they are using it, to better guide our development. This information will help guide our development efforts to have the most impact.
Open Robotics will aggregate the results and share them with the community, all while maintaining the privacy of individuals who have submitted more detailed responses.

This is a bit of a copy and paste from the ROS section. For gazebo sometimes they’re distributed in ROS packages. But anything such as a plugin or other customization was the intent.
