ROS Wrappers for ROS Kinetic and ROS Lunar for the Gazebo 9 version are ready in the packages.osrfoundation.org repository. The information about how to install them and their limitations is available in the document Which combination of ROS/Gazebo versions to use.
The Changelog for the Gazebo 9 version can be found in the releasing notes.
