Hello community,
Who doesn’t love robotics competitions? We’ll cover how our next guest developed Micromouse contests in simulation . Here are some details:
"Ratada is a set of Gazebo plugins for simulating Micromouse contests. The user selects maze and robot, and they’re imported into the simulation. The system tracks the robot’s solve time once it leaves the starting position. If the robot crashes, the user may intervene and reposition the robot. A sample robot and solving algorithm is provided.
One of the project’s vision is to allow users who are not familiar with Gazebo’s internals to set up Micromouse simulation environments."
Here’s the agenda:
- Latest news from Open Robotics about Gazebo - Carlos Agüero, Honu Robotics
- Ratada, a set of Gazebo plugins for simulating Micromouse contests - Pedro Victor Fontoura Zawadniak - Analog Devices.
Optional: Lighting talks
We opened a slot for short (2 minutes) lighting presentations. If you’re interested in talking about your maritime project contact me (caguero AT honurobotics DOT com) and I’ll book your slot.
