How do I get my account back from gazebo answers?

I was able to log in Robotics Stack, but my username is different than what I had on gazebo answers. How do I get it back? I wanted to ask a technical question on the site. Where can I contact support about this?

Gazebo answers is now read-only and will be suspended in the future. You should direct all your questions to Robotics Stack Exchange.

If you’d like to connect the former Gazebo answers account to the RSE account, maybe the forum admins could still help (this would mean your migrated questions and answers would link to your RSE account instead of the dummy account used for migration).

Sorry kakcalu13, I’m not super familiar with how the migration was done, but I believe the window of time for associating your gazebo answers account to RSE has passed. I doubt it’s possible to do this now. @tfoote can you confirm?

I wish I could do more to support people in your situation. If your questions were answered you should be able to find them on the new site and “Save” them with the little flag next to the voting buttons to be able to find them quickly in your profile. And you can also click “Follow” below to get future followups on the new site in the same way is if you were already participating in the conversation.
