Gazebo Ionic, Tutorial Party Results, Artwork, Swag Sale, and More!

Hi Everyone,

The Gazebo Ionic (:gazebo: :classical_building:) release just a week away, September 30th to be exact, and we’re happy to announce that the release artwork and swag sale is now ready! Before we show you the artwork we wanted to fill you in on the results from our Ionic Test and Tutorial Party! Our tutorial party went incredibly well! We had 31 participants help us with testing the Ionic release which allowed us to:

  • Close 413 out of 664 total testing tickets
  • Close 151 out of 181 Ubuntu tickets
  • Close 64 out of 180 MacOS tickets
  • Close 77 out of 180 Windows tickets
  • 56 PRs created fixing issues found

The team is presently making the final preparations to release Gazebo Ionic and hustling to get ready for our monthly Gazebo Community Meeting on 2024-09-25T16:00:00Z (Community meeting: Ionic (September 2024)). We’re hoping the entire Gazebo community shows up to watch us all the great new features in Gazebo Ionic. At the Gazebo Community we’ll also be announcing the name for the next Gazebo release, the J release, :point_right: so please take a moment to vote for your favorite names in our poll :point_left: .
