Our own Saurabh Kamat, a Gazebo project committer, will present some of the recent updates in the Gazebo command-line interface . Next are some details:
“The Gazebo command-line interface has undergone a major transformation. Previously, Gazebo’s libraries depended on a Ruby script to handle subcommands, which often caused frustrations with debugging tools like GDB and had significant portability issues. This presentation details the integration of standalone C++ executables into multiple Gazebo libraries, largely replacing the older Ruby-based CLI. This shift is designed to deliver a more stable and cross-platform command-line experience for all Gazebo users.”
