Hi, with ROS, I’ve got pretty used to the maintenance discourse threads about upcoming and released releases of new binary versions. Is there something like that available for Ignition suite? Here or on ROS discourse?
This idea has been brought up before. Because the minor/patch releases for Ignition libraries aren’t done all at once like ROS distros, it could become cumbersome to post to Community every time there’s a release.
So the approach we’re looking into is making GitHub releases to accompany tags. This way, users can subscribe to emails and notifications as they please. Here’s the issue tracking this feature.
I did it exactly like that, so now I’m just waiting for some releases
